Working with Independent Cinemas
Aiming to be a community & family orientated venture means helping out where we can to offer something back to the community. We contacted you as we know just how hard it can be to keep local independent cinema alive, but also just how important and inspiring they can be to the next generation of film makers. Also, with the pandemic hopefully on the way out, it's time to bring people back and make new films affordable for cinemas too so they can help recover, enabling them to still be part of their local community. Our offering may be a little different but we wanted to help... and this is how...
Hi, I'm Matt Hickinbottom.
Producer & Director of
'Emily the little match girl'.
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit this page, designed to give independent cinemas a look at our Family Orientated, Animated Christmas Feature Film offering.
'Emily the little match girl' started as a stage musical that I began writing all the way back in 1996. I began working in Film & TV production not long afterwards and had the dream of making it into a live action feature. To make independently would have cost a huge amount and although the script was well received in various places, the film remained a dream.
Last year during lockdown, production was halted on many live action projects, so I turned to 3D animation.
